During this fabulous winter adventure, you will conquer, while riding a powerful snowmobile, the extraordinary wild territories that the Mauricie, Lac-Saint-Jean, Saguenay and Laurentian Wildlife Reserve regions feature. An expedition intended for those looking for an intense experience. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to discover a majestic fjord, some dramatic nordic sceneries and the immensity of the Mauricie’s back country. To crown it all, you will be invited for a visit at the legendary Ice Hotel!

Day 1 – Montreal / Trois-Rives
Arrival and shuttle from the airport to the Auberge Mattawin or similar (clients must sometime wait for passengers traveling on other flights). (Dinner included depending on flight arrival time)

Montreal City Break Option: In order to start or to conclude this active package the right way, we offer an exciting city break in the thrilling city of Montréal. The urban culture enthusiasts will indeed be delighted with this fascinating extension which allows them to discover the charms of Montréal. For additional information. he extension can be include at the beginning as well as at the end of your winter package. Depending on the chosen formula, the package will then be extended with 2 additional days and 2 additional nights. If you want to add this option to the original package, please mention it in the appropriate field of the quotation request form.


Day 2 – Trois-Rives / Lac-Édouard (192 km)
Explanation of safety guidelines, technical advices and initial training. You leave by snowmobile at morning’s end for an adventure during which you’ll travel through the astonishing protected areas of the Mauricie region. The Canadian cliché of the wild forests sparkled with isolated lakes becomes a reality here! Dinner and night at the Pourvoirie Domaine Lac-Édouard or similar. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 3 – Lac-Édouard / Saguenay (216 km)
The first part of this exciting day will allow you to travel at high speed through a pristine forest territory. Depending on the rhythm of the group, we might then make a stop on the shores of the majestic St. Jean Lake which looks like a white desert in winter. At this point, you will be back in the civilization as several quaint villages are built around the lake. We will then continue on towards the city of Alma. This small town features a surprisingly good selection of clubs and bars which will certainly delight the nightlife enthusiasts! Dinner and night at the Universel Alma or similar. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 4 – Saguenay / Laurentian Wildlife Reserve (195 km)
In the morning, the adventure continues on across the maze of mountains an valleys which charactarized the Laurentian Wildlife Reserve. Dinner and night in the heart of the Reserve at the Auberge l’Étape or similar. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 5 – Laurentian Wildlife Reserve / Saint-Raymond-de-Portneuf (188 km)
Continue on across a magnificent wild territory where endless pine forests are followed by spectacular snow caped mountains and peaceful valleys where frozen rivers are laying. Due to its high elevation and its micro-climate, this wildlife reserve is famous for the abundance of its snow precipitations. In the afternoon, you will be invited for a visit of the legendary Ice Hotel. Dinner and night at the Auberge Roquemont or similar. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 6 – Saint-Raymond-de-Portneuf / Trois-Rives / Montreal (or Quebec City - see explication below ) (179 km)
You will then head back towards the Adventure Center while riding along the panoramic trails of the Mauricie region. Back at the adventure center at the end of the day, you’ll take advantage of a farewell dinner before the transfer to Montreal. Night at the Roberval or similar. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included) Instead of returning to Montreal, you can rather opt for a transfer to Québec City.

"Stay in Québec City" Option: Rather than returning to Montréal on day 6, you now have the opportunity to be transferred in Québec City where you will also spend the Saturday night before taking the train back to Montréal on Sunday morning. The package then become an 8 days / 7 nights. For additional information.


Day 7 – Montréal
Those who returned to Montréal the night before will take advantage of some free time to discover the city before the airport transfer. (Breakfast)
