Literally lost in the heart of the Boreal Forest, the site used to be, in the 19th
century, a prestigious fishing and hunting club frequented by the rich and famous.
The Rockfellers, Theodore Roosevelt, and Sir Winston Churchill are only a few of
the many celebrities who visited the outfitter during its glorious history. You are
invited to join this select club during a thrilling stay in this outstanding setting!
This is also the ideal place to practice the main Canadian winter activities in the
heart of a rich and wild nature. You’ll hence be introduced to snowshoeing, crosscountry
skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, trapping, etc. To crown it all, you’ll be
in position to stay in the charming city of Montreal.

Day 1 – Montreal
Rendez-vous in the thrilling and
appealing city of Montreal! Second
French speaking city in the world
after Paris, Montreal combines old
world influences with North American
modernity in a very unique way. Let
yourself be charmed by the romantic
streets of Old Montréal and conquer
its exhilarating nights! You’ll then
understand why the city has been for
long time known as the “Northern
New Orleans”! Night at the Roberval
Hotel or similar.
Day 2 – Montreal /
Lac-Édouard
After a good night’s sleep and a
hearty breakfast, you must catch the
8h30 am train that will enable you to
leave the big city heading towards
the mauricie region’s wild territories.
At your arrival at lac Édouard at
around 2:14 pm, you’ll be greeted by
one of our guides who will then take
you to the Lake Edward Club. Once
on the premises, you’ll have some
time to install after what the
“extreme cold” clothing and the
snowmobiles will be distributed.
You’ll finally take advantage of a
welcome cocktail during which you’ll
have the opportunity to meet the
guides and the chef. (Breakfast and dinner included)
Day 3 – Lac-Édouard
Departure with your guide for a snowshoeing
excursion along the forest
trails. The activity will also feature
some wild life watching and trapping.
In the afternoon, guided cross-country
skiing excursion in the vicinities
Édouard Lake. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 4 – Lac-Édouard
It’s snowmobile time! Along with an
experienced guide, you’ll continue on
towards the wild territories of the Triton
and Rivière-à-Pierre. You’ll then leave
the exhilarating experience of an introduction
to dog sledding. Night in a
traditional shelter. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 5 – Lac-Édouard
Continuation of your snowmobile adventure
in the heart of the Boreal forest.
An extraordinary itinerary featuring
frozen lakes and river, spectacular view
points, pine trees filled with snow
creating actual tunnels, etc. Return to
lac Édouard by the end of the day. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 6 – Lac-Édouard
Today you’ll take advantage of a free
day during which you’ll have the opportunity
to choose from a wide selection
of optional activities:
-Ice fishing
-Snowmobile rental in duo
-Downhill skiing
-Excursion to the Saint-Félicien
Wildlife Zoo.
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 7 – Lac-Édouard
Multi-activity day which includes an
introduction to winter camping, a
course on how to build a queenzy
(similar to an igloo), forest survival
session, etc. you’ll then have the
opportunity, if you wish, to live the
extraordinary experience of a night
in a queenzy! In the afternoon,
you’ll be invited to visit a Native
shop. Back at the cottage, your
dinner will be animated by an authentic
Native storyteller. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 8 – Lac-Édouard /
Montreal
In the morning, you’ll be in position
to try an antic Elan snowmobile
before heading back towards the
railway station to catch the 2:15 pm
train that will take you back in
Montreal. Your arrival in Montreal is
expected at 8:15 pm. Night at the
Roberval Hotel or similar. (Breakfast and lunch included)
Day 9 – Montréal
Some free time to visit the city
before the end of your vacation or
the continuation of your individual
trip. (Breakfast included) |
