Take the time to have some fun! Come join us in our winter wonderland! A week of various activities suited to all tastes. From driving your own snowmobile (2 days) to snow shoeing and from dog sledding (2 day) to wildlife watching… All this and much, much more!

Day 1 – Montreal / Trois-Rives
Arrival and shuttle from the airport to the Rivière Mattawin area (clients must sometime wait for passengers traveling on other flights). Night in The Mauricie Valley’s Log Chalets. (Dinner included)

Montreal City Break Option: In order to start or to conclude this active package the right way, we offer an exciting city break in the thrilling city of Montréal. The urban culture enthusiasts will indeed be delighted with this fascinating extension which allows them to discover the charms of Montréal. For additional information. he extension can be include at the beginning as well as at the end of your winter package. Depending on the chosen formula, the package will then be extended with 2 additional days and 2 additional nights. If you want to add this option to the original package, please mention it in the appropriate field of the quotation request form.

Day 2 – Trois-Rives
You will now take advantage of a guided snowshoeing excursion in the heart of the Canadian forest. You will then reach a remotely located Voyager camp. While sipping a glass of Caribou (Quebec’s apperitif wine) you will be introduced to the art of living in the wild and will build a traditional Native shelter. After a hearty lunch cooked over a camp fire, you will have the opportunity to experience ice hockey, tube sliding and other winter delights! (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 3 – Trois-Rives (140 km)
It’s snowmobile time! After the crossing of the majestic Saint-Maurice River, you’ll ride through fabulous wildlife areas. Your Children (6 to 12) have the opportunity to spend an exciting day at our “Kids Club”. Our guides will organize for them an exciting program filled with such activities as winter games, comedy and handicraft sessions, etc. Please note that kids can also choose to rather spend the day with you on the back seat of your snowmobile (As in day 4). (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 4 – Trois-Rives (160 km)
Another day of amazing discoveries! In the morning, get back on your snowmobile in order to reach the magnificent area of the Mékinac Lake, which means turtle in Native language. The Canadian cliché of the wild forests sparkled with isolated lakes becomes a reality here! Lunch will then be taken in a typical snowmobile relay station. In the afternoon, you’ll travel through breathtaking sceneries while passing under tunnels of snowy pine trees. After dinner, you’ll be invited to a lecture about Quebec’s sceneries and activities. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 5 - Trois-Rives
Get ready for some action! For those wishing to experience the raw energy of nature, nothing compares to a dog sledding adventure in the wild territories of the Saint-Maurice Wildlife Reserve. You'll find here the very essence of the Mauricie, a land of pioneers, log drivers and voyagers! This protected area stretches over 784 km2 and features 245 lakes and several rivers. In winter you can observe Moose, deer, beavers and wolves. You will be carried by our powerful hounds while catching a glimpse of the ever changing landscapes as you glide across the winter wonderland. Your musher (guide) will teach you the art of harnessing the huskies and you will have the opportunity to ride your own sled. At midday, you will also enjoy a tasteful meal cooked over a campfire. An itinerary featuring frozen lakes and rivers will then lead you to your cozy rustic cottage where you'll spend the night in the heart of the Canadian forest, completely isolated from the rest of the civilization! (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 6 - Trois-Rives / Montreal (or Québec City
- see the explications below)
Continue on your dogsled journey through this incredibly tranquil wilderness.  Only the hissing of the sled runners over the snow or the occasional cry of a tenacious wildfowl will interrupt the quietness of this vast, dense forest. After a fireside lunch, we will then return to the trail in order to discover further peaceful realms, those small, secluded spots whose existence is known only by the woodsmen and the mushers.  It's then time to return to the kennel where you'll say goodbye to your dogs. Back at the Adventure Center at the end of the day, you'll take advantage of a farewell dinner during which you'll have the opportunity to discuss about your adventures before the transfer to Montreal . Night at the Roberval Hotel (breakfast, lunch and dinner included). Instead of returning to Montreal, you can rather opt for a transfer to Quebec City.

"Stay in Québec City" Option: Rather than returning to Montréal on day 6, you now have the opportunity to be transferred in Québec City where you will also spend the Saturday night before taking the train back to Montréal on Sunday morning. The package then becomes an 8 days / 7 nights. For more information.

Day 7 – Montreal
Those who returned to Montreal the night before will take advantage of some free time to discover the city before the airport transfer. (Breakfast included)
