Thanks to the efforts of the environmentalists, the baby seal hunt is now forbidden in Canada, allowing a few outdoor enthusiasts the chance to observe the fascinating birth period on the Magdalen Island ice-barriers.

Day 1 – Cap-aux-Meules
Arrival and shuttle form the airport to your hotel. Night at the Chateau Madelinot or similar. (Dinner included)

Day 2 – Cap-aux-Meules
You can take advantage of this morning to visit the Seal Interpretation Center to learn some basic facts about this fascinating animal. Then, in the afternoon, take a panoramic helicopter flight over the ice floes where the charming baby seals are born and nursed. With a little luck you might even take home a picture of yourself holding one of the darling creatures in your arms… A unique experience! One of the true wonders of the world! Night at the Chateau Madelinot or similar. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 3 – Cap-aux-Meules
Today is devoted to a guided tour of the central and western parts of the islands in the company of a local guide. You'll visit some of the marvellous corners of lost paradise known only to the local island dwellers… Following this, should you be in the mood for still more fresh air, you can take a short dogsled ride (OPTIONAL) or even take a second helicopter ride (OPTIONAL)! Night at the Chateau Madelinot or similar. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 4 – Cap-aux-Meules
To round off your island adventure in a sporty manner we propose a morning practicing one of the archipelago's most enjoyable winter activities : a guided cross country ski excursion. And don't forget to bring your camera! Then, in the afternoon, board the shuttle back to the airport. (Breakfast and lunch included)
The table below features a list of short packages which you can easily add to the original package. If you want to add one of these packages, please make your choice using the appropriate field of the quotation request form. We'd like to bring your attention to the fact that adding one or several of these short packages will of course increase the length of your trip.
