| Less than 30 minutes north of Quebec City, the Jacques-Cartier National Park features imposing scenery which is characterised by a seizing contrast: mountainous uplands fractured by steep-sided valleys. A river winds through the most spectacular of them, the Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier, a trench more than 550 m deep. This is the outstanding natural setting where your 3 amazing days of wildlife watching will take place! |
Days 1 to 3 – Jacques- Cartier National Park
Upon your arrival, a Boreal Forest specialized guide will greet you and lead you to your chalet. During your stay, you’ll take part in approximately 10 hours of wildlife watching activities (moose, wolf, deer, loon, beaver, etc.). These activities will be conducted by foot and in rabaska (native canoe). You’ll also be invited for a lecture about the Laurentian Mountains Wolf. To crown it all, you’ll have access to more than 100 km of hiking trails and will be in position to use the kayaks and the canoes for 1 day on the Jacques-Cartier River. |
