The Île-aux-Lièvres is inhabited by marine birds and seals and has retained its wild and fascinating character. Whether bathed in bright light or shrouded in fog, it’s the perfect place for dreaming! You’ll then stay in a cozy inn which offers traditional and tasty meals, a friendly and cordial reception. Silence... relaxation... no meeting... except the one you could have with a flock of grouses at the bend of trail or with tens of hares bustling about in the underwoods at nightfall... In fact, we have only one activity to suggest: the discovery of this large mythical island drifting in the estuary with its escort of belugas, minke whales and seabirds...




Days 1 and 2 –Île-aux-Lièvres
It’s in Rivière-du-Loup that you’ll board the ship that will lead you to the island. You will never be able toexplore and appreciate the beauty of this 13 km long island in its entirety in only one day. Will you opt to wander along the north shore escarpment, or will you head for the eastern point with its prairie of seaparsley and potentilla? You will find over 40 km of marked hiking trails with lookouts, shelters and plenty of beautiful places to rest along the way. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
