| Auberge des Peupliers is the ideal place to rejuvenate in the magnificent Charlevoix region. Renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and highly acclaimed cuisine, the Auberge des Peupliers graces a heritage village perched on a cape that offers a splendid overview of the St. Lawrence River and the surrounding mountains. Beautiful parks, whale-watching, two great golf courses, art galleries and arts-and-crafts shops are all easily accessible from the inn. |

Days 1 and 2 – Cap-à-l’Aigle
During your stay in the heart of the Charlevoix region, you’ll have the opportunity, among other things, to live a fabulous dining experience at the restaurant of the inn. Chef Dominique Truchon has been in charge of the kitchen at l'Auberge des Peupliers since 1983. A native of the neighbouring village, he is now renowned as one of the greatest chefs in Québec. His love of the Charlevoix area shows itself in his efforts to spread the wordabout his home. He works closely with area producers to develop the region’s products. You’ll also discover the breathtaking landscapes of the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière- Malbaie National Park during an unforgettable “Bateau Mouche” cruise. This park is one of Québec's most beautiful natural monuments. It was named after a series of valleys cut deep into a range of high mountains. Steep slopes, beautiful natural surroundings, and the unusual course of Rivière Malbaie make this an exceptional site. It has the privilege of being one of the central areas of the Charlevoix world biosphere reserve. Onboard the Bateau Mouche, a naturalist parc ranger will share with you his extensive knowledge of this spectacular territory. Come and take a voyage into the heart of this outstanding natural setting, where time stops but the spectacle goes on and on. (Breakfast and Dinner included) |
