Description du forfaits

With its great historical and natural value, the Station touristique Duchesnay is a jewel of the Québec City region. It is located on the banks of the magnificent Lac Saint-Joseph and is mainly composed of an 89 km² deciduous forest. This majestic site, which until just recently was a school of forestry, combines all of these elements to turn your nature escapade into a memorable moment. It is even truer now with the arrival of the new hotel which will win you over with its country style and the way it harmonizes with the natural surroundings. Nestled atop a small hill on the banks of Lac Saint-Joseph, every room in the hotel has a magnificent view on the lake. The forest environment, great facilities and quality accommodations infrastructures ensure unforgettable stays.

Days 1 to 3 – Ste-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier
We invite you to arrive at the station in late afternoon. In the evening, you’ll take part to an extraordinary activity: Along with a naturalist guide, you’ll enter the wild forest for a fascinating and exciting evening of bear watching! Safely installed in a state of the art watching station, you’ll be in pos i t ion to observe these magnificent beasts from very close. During the following days, you’ll take advantage of the several free activities available on the premises:swimming (beach and indoor swimming pool), canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, etc. Moreover, the restaurant at the hotel will delight the most hard to please gourmets. You’ll indeed savour the dishes which are expertly prepared by Chef Sébastien Rivard. Who said that adventure in the wild should rhyme with frugality? (2 Breakfast and 2 Dinner included)
