Description du forfaits

Enjoy a unique experience next to an immense and majestic forest through which flows the Rivière à Mars, one of the region’s most beautiful salmon rivers. Okwari Adventures invites you to discover an amazing place where you can safely watch the black bear in his natural habitat. See Quebec’s nature in all its splendour while riding a Rabaska canoe and hiking on an interpretative nature trail where qualified guides will share with you their passion for the wild

Day 1 – Saguenay
Meet your guide in late afternoon at the information centre. After the explanation of the security measures, you’ll assist to a lecture on the black bears. You’ll then continue on towards the watching site. Inside two miradors, which may contains up to 60 persons, you will be able to safely observe black bears from very close! Night at the Auberge des Battures or similar.

Day 2 – Saguenay
Along with a naturalist guide, you’ll visit an actual beaver shed after what you’ll continue on with a pleasant Rabaska excursion (8m long) on the magnificent Mars River. You’ll then reach an animated aboriginal site (traditional medicine, housing, way of life, etc.). To crown it all, you’ll finally make a short hike on an interpretation path along the Mars River which will lead you to a site where moose are a common sight. Your guide will then be more than happy to share his extensive knowledge of the local fauna and flora. (Breakfast and Lunch included)
