| Here’s a unique way to explore eastern Canada: By train it is! From Toronto, while passing by Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal, you’ll travel with comfort and style heading towards Atlantic Canada. Once in Halifax, you’ll pick-up your rented car in order to discover Nova Scotia’s and Cape Breton Island’s marvels. |

Upon arrival at the hotel on day one, you’ll find your personalized Globe-Trotter roadbook at the front desk. Days 1 and 2 – Toronto
Arrival in Canada’s financial metropolis.
Days 3 and 4 – Toronto / Ottawa (446 km by train)
Take the train to the very beautiful city of Ottawa and discover the city’s main attractions such as the Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, the public market, etc.

Days 10 and 11 – Halifax
Arrival in Halifax, where you’ll enjoy the numerous attractions of one of North America’s most unique and captivating harbour and university city! (Breakfast and Lunch included on day 10)
Day 12 – Halifax / Liscomb Mills (148 km)
Today you will drive the scenic east coast Marine Road towards the famous Liscombe Lodge. Nestled on the shore of a magnificent river and surrounded by the evergreens, this is a true paradise for the nature enthusiasts.
Day 13 – Liscomb Mills / Baddeck (221 Km)
Come discover Cape Breton Island’s rugged splendour at your own pace! You’ll then stay in Baddeck. Located on the shores of the Bras d’Or Lake, this beautiful and quaint town definitely worth a visit! (Breakfast included on day 13)
Days 14 and 15 – Baddeck / Ingonish (85 km)
Discover beautiful Ingonish and witness dramatic scenery along the famous Cabot Trail. Boldly nestled on a cliff and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, The Keltic Lodge offers breathtaking views as well as a high level of comfort and a fine dining experience.
Day 16 – Ingonish / Sydney (142 km)
Before leaving Cape Breton Island, we suggest strongly that you visit the exceptional Louisbourg fortress. The “New World Gibraltar” will literally take you back to the New France era!
Day 17 - Sydney / West Bay (148 Km)
On your way back to Halifax, continue the visit of Cape Breton Island. Overnight in West Bay. (Breakfast included)
Day 18 – West Bay / Halifax (331 km)
Back in Halifax. Continue your visit of this charming harbour city. Moreover, Halifax offers you the relaxed and joyful atmosphere of its many pubs and of its animated streets featuring magnificent Georgian houses.
Day 19 – Halifax
Drop-off your vehicle.
