| Discover the pearls of the Canadian rockies while enjoying the romance of rail travel. After you’ll have visited Calgary, Banff and Jasper, you’ll climb onboard the famous Yellowhead Rocky Mountaineer. You will then follow a historic train route constructed over 100 years ago through Canada’s West and the Canadian Rockies, uniting the country. As all the travels are done in the daylight, you won’t miss anything of the spectacular landscapes! |

 |

Upon arrival at the hotel on day one, you’ll find your personalized Globe-Trotter roadbook at the front desk. This very complete package of travelling literature includes: the relevant road maps, a copy of your detailed itinerary, some useful travelling tips, the vouchers, the relevant travelling guides, a 24h/7d toll free emergency number as well as a few surprises !
Day 1 - Calgary
After your arrival at the airport, a shuttle will take you in downtown Calgary.
Days 2 and 3 - Calgary / Banff (129 km by bus)
A shuttle will then take you in the majestic Rocky Mountains. You will then have the opportunity to visit the charming town of Banff and its spectacular surroundings. Among other things, we suggest strongly go on top of Mount Sulphur with the panoramic gondola. Another Banff classic is to have a rejuvenating bath into the natural hot springs (OPTIONAL). (Breakfast included on day 3)
Day 4- Banff / Jasper (288 km by bus)
Continue on towards jasper. On your way, the shuttle will lead you across the spectacular Columbia Icefield site. The numerous lakes, the impressive waterfalls and the incredible glaciers will all make excellent excuses for some picture pauses! Your final destination, Jasper and its legendary National Park! (Breakfast included)
Days 5 to 7 - Jasper / Vancouver (via Kamloops)
Be prepared to live one of the most spectacular travel experiences in the world. The itinerary between Jasper and Vancouver is indeed renowned for its spectacular valleys and excellent opportunities to see wildlife, including grizzly bears! You will also be in position to admire the Thompson and Fraser Canyons, Mount Robson (the highest peak of the Canadian Rockies, as well as the Pyramid Falls. You can choose the standard service (Redleaf) which includes a reserved seat where your meals will be served, or the deluxe service (Goldleaf) which includes a reserved seat in a panoramic coach and some gourmet meals in the restaurant-coach (see the transport section). You will then pass a night in a hotel in Kamloops (including transfers), and will receive a travel package as well as a commemorative pin. If you travel in the Goldleaf class, you will also take advantage of a dinner at your hotel and of the transportation of your luggage. Your final destination: the Thrilling city of Vancouver! Its outstanding location between mountains and ocean definitely make this city one of the most beautiful in the world. Take advantage of these two days to discover its main attractions and to feel its typically west-coast atmosphere. We particularly suggest the visit of the aquarium, of the anthropology museum, of the Stanley Park, of the Chinatown and of the historic district of Gastown. If after all that you are still in the mood for some action, be aware that Vancouver is also well known for its wild nights! (2 Breakfast and 2 Lunch included) (an additional D with GoldLeaf)
