You now leave the big city and continue on towards Quebec’s great outdoors! With its 400 square km of fresh water, the Baskatong is a virtual inland sea and definitely one of the best protected bodies of water in Québec. It is part of an area of boreal forests, lakes and mountains that is one of the largest animal and ecological reserves in Canada. Here and there, unspoiled pine-green islands offer a delightful refuge to both birds and nature lovers. It's an ideal setting in which to relax and recharge. (Breakfast included on day 2)

Day 4 – Ferme Neuve / Mont-Laurier (20 km)
The High-Laurentides dwellers are known for their welcoming tradition and their colourful spirit! That’s good news because you’ll live the unforgettable experience of staying among a typical Quebec family. In the evening, get ready to have some fun! On the menu: local meals and a warm atmosphere. Located in the heart of a beautiful natural setting, the High-Laurentides village where you’ll stay offers a unique thematic stay based on cultural sharing between the guests and the hosts. If for whatever reason you would like to proceed otherwise by rather piking-up the car in a downtown location on day 2, we'd be more than happy to quote it for you.
