Description du forfaits

An outfitter is an estate situated deep in the forest where you can stay and practice your favorite outdoor activities. These are former private hunting and fishing clubs that are now open to the public. We have selected some of the most beautiful ones for your enjoyment both for the areas they cover as well as the originality and quality of lodging they provide. The great outfitters tour: for people who want to live in close contact with nature.




Upon arrival at the hotel on day one, you’ll find your personalized Globe-Trotter roadbook at the front desk. This very complete package of travelling literature includes: the relevant road maps, a copy of your detailed itinerary, some useful travelling tips, the vouchers, the relevant travelling guides, a 24h/7d toll free emergency number as well as a few surprises !

Day 1 – Montreal
Pick up your vehicle. In addition to the options listed below, there are many other activities also available.

Day 2 – Montreal / Mont-Laurier (255 km)
We now leave civilization behind for a safari photo of the black bear. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Days 3 and 4 – Mont-Laurier
Wake up early so that you can observe a herd of moose and do some beaver watching. Guided canoeing activities, mountain biking and hiking awaits you as you wish. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included on days 3 and 4)

Day 5 – Mont-Laurier / Trois-Rives (400 km)
Beautiful roads in the wilderness will take you to the land of the raftmen. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 6 – Trois-Rives
A most picturesque log cabin will be your point of departure for an expedition into the peace and quiet of the forest. Dinner of wild meat. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Day 7 – Trois-Rives / Ste-Rose-du-Nord (435 km)
Today you’ll travel along the St-Maurice River, which runs through the heart of the Laurentian Mountains up to Lac-St-Jean, Quebec's inland sea, before reaching the largest inland fjord in the world, the Saguenay. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

From Trois-Rives (day 7), here are a few optional short stays that you could easily add to your package. Please refer to their duration in order to determine the number of nights each of these trips will add to the original route.

Day 8 – Ste-Rose-du-Nord
The option: both feet in the water right in the middle of a turbulent river, dressed as a salmon fisherman, holding a fishing rod, admiring the beauty of the surroundings, listening to the advice of the guide who alone interrupts the silence… (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 9 – Ste-Rose-du-Nord / St-Urbain (235 km)
Another beautiful day that will bring you to the wonderful region of Charlevoix. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 10 – St-Urbain
Protected by UNESCO because of its natural treasures and rich cultural heritage, the Charlevoix region consists of many areas of lost paradise that you are invited to discover. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 11 – St-Urbain / Quebec City (125 km)
Date at the National Capital! In addition to the options listed below, there are many other activities also available. (Breakfast included)

TIP: Please note that these prices include a pick up directly at the airport. Considering how expensive taxi transfer can be and the fact that you'll only have to park your vehicle in downtown (city centre) the first night, we truly belive that it's the easiest way to proceed. If for whatever reason you would like to proceed otherwise by rather piking-up the car in a downtown location on day 2, we'd be more than happy to quote it for you.
