Here’s a package that will sweep your feet off! Along with an experienced bush pilot, you’ll climb onboard a floatplane in order to discover the pearls of the Canadian forest. You’ll then be in position to appreciate the immensity and the wild beauty of our wide open spaces. You’ll also have the privilege of staying in outstanding forest lodges which combine the sophistication of the nicest boutique hotels with a true escape in the heart of a pristine nature.




Upon arrival at the hotel on day one, you’ll find your personalized Globe-Trotter roadbook at the front desk. This very complete package of travelling literature includes: the relevant road maps, a copy of your detailed itinerary, some useful travelling tips, the vouchers, the relevant travelling guides, a 24h/7d toll free emergency number as well as a few surprises !

Day 1 – Montreal
Rendez-vous in the thrilling and appealing city of Montreal. Second French speaking city in the world after Paris, Montreal combines old world influences with North American modernity in a very unique way.

Days 2 and 3 / Montréal / St-Alexis des Monts
This afternoon, a vehicle will pick-you up at your hotel for your transfer to the hotel Sacacomie. Welcome in the raftmen country! The Mauricie Region is mostly characterized by wild areas featuring mountains covered with a thick forest. You’ll stay in an outstanding log made resort located in the heart of the Boreal forest. The Sacacomie hotel proposes an escape in the Canadian forest while enjoying a high level of comfort and services. During these 2 days you will Enjoy this superb environment as you wish. If some takes advantage of the site to take a rest while admiring the breathtaking view the hotel offers on the lake and the surrounding area, the sports enthusiasts will be delighted with the wide variety of activities available. The place is indeed a true kingdom for sports such as kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, ATV riding, horseback riding, etc. (some with extra fees).

Days 4 and 5 / St-Alexis des Monts / St-Urbain
Your arrival in this little piece of paradise will be a much spectacular one! Indeed, you’ll arrive from the air aboard a floatplane to discover the only 5 star forest lodge in Quebec. Nestled in the spectacular Nordic territory of the Charlevoix back-country and completely isolated from the rest of the civilization, this luxurious log-made outfitter, which was built following an ecological spirit, proposes a high level of service and a fine cuisine worthy of the best restaurants in Quebec. The castle life in the heart of the pristine Canadian forest! You will be delighted by the rugged landscapes and the wildness of the Charlevoix back-country. You will easily understand why this area ha been designated as a World Heritage Site by the Unesco. During a stay at the Auberge du ravage, you are living a luxurious experience while being completely isolated in the heart of a huge natural territory. Remotely located between the Hautes-Gorges and the Grands-Jardins National Parks, the lodge is surrounded by an outstanding fauna and flora. The several trails (various difficulty levels) allow you to access some fabulous view-points. The outfitter has 82 square kilometers of pristine land that you can take advantage of!

Day 6 / St-Urbain / Tadoussac
Today you will board again a floatplane to reach Tadoussac. Tadoussac is definitely the place you should head to! You will be amazed by this picturesque village which lies between a thick boreal forest, the majestic Saguenay Fjord and the sea. With its bright colours, the Hotel Tadoussac looks like a huge lighthouse, built close to a nice sandy beach. The town of Tadoussac used to be an important commercial center for the first nations. With the arrival of the Europeans, it kept its commercial vocations with the whale and fur industry. French explorers such as Jacques Cartier and Samuel de Champlain stayed in the area. In the 19th century, the town rather became a luxurious resort frequented by the rich and famous. Today, its spectacular site and its sea mammals still attract the tourists as well as the scientists. A visit in Tadoussac wouldn’t be complete without a whale watching activity! The area where the waters of the Fjord and those of the St-Lawrence River meet is indeed one of the best in the world to observe the whales. More than 13 species, including the blue whales and the belugas gathered on this specific site.

Day 7 / Tadoussac / Quebec City
A last floatplane flight will leads your to the beautiful Quebec City Region. Rich in culture, history and beauty, Quebec City has the appearance and the atmosphere of an old-world town. Indeed, its old section has kept its historic character and a “Vieille France” charm.

Day 8 / Quebec City / Montréal / Montréal Airport
Today the train will bring you back in Montreal downtown. You may have some free time to visit Montréal before your return flight.
