Here’s our famous family oriented driving vacation in Quebec. This program indeed enables the families with young children (or the young at heart) to discover Quebec’s marvels while having plenty of time for funny activities. We want to make sure that the kids have as much pleasure as their parents!




Upon arrival at the hotel on day one, you’ll find your personalized Globe-Trotter roadbook at the front desk. This very complete package of travelling literature includes: the relevant road maps, a copy of your detailed itinerary, some useful travelling tips, the vouchers, the relevant travelling guides, a 24h/7d toll free emergency number as well as a few surprises !

Day 1 – Montreal
Pick-up your vehicle and rendez-vous in the thrilling and appealing city of Montreal.

Days 2 and 3 – Montreal / St-Michel-des-Saints (162 km)
Today you leave the city and drive into the Laurentian Mountains. You will then stay in a magnificent resort which will delight the sport and outdoor activities enthusiasts. The ideal place for an exciting forest adventure. On the program: swimming in the lake, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, tennis, swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, hiking in the forest, native tipi and much more! (2 Breakfast, 2 Lunch, 2 Diner included)

Days 4 to 6 – St-Michel-des-Saints / Quebec City (276 km)
Your destination: Beautiful Quebec City! Rich in culture, history and beauty, Quebec City has the appearance and the atmosphere of an old-world town. Indeed, its old section has kept its historic character and a “Vieille France” charm. Moreover, the surrounding areas offer delightful landscapes. Yield to temptation of an excursion toward the spectacular Montmorency Falls and the Île d’Orleans. You will then stay at he Hotel Quebec whose water slides will surely make the joy of the kids. The whole family will also be delighted by a visit at Canada’s largest waterpark: 35 waterslides for all tastes, a gigantic wave pool, The Amazone (1/2 km tropical river), The pirates Cave, The Dungeon, The Game Island, The Cocorico farm and much more! (Breakfast included on day 4)

Days 7 and 8 – Quebec City / Sacré-Cœur (290 km)
Continue on towards the Saguenay Fjord. The fjord features a rugged coastline sprinkled with quaint villages and belvederes offering breathtaking views. The estuary is also famous for whale watching. You will then stay in a holiday center which is ideal for outdoor adventures! (Breakfast included on day 8 and 2 Diner included)

Day 9 – Sacré-Cœur / St-Félicien (339 km)
To reach Quebec’s “inland sea”, you will drive along the magnificent Saguenay Fjord. With its 210 Km of shores and its many sandy beaches, the lake is an ideal place for nautical activities or for a lovely cruise. Take also the time to meet with its attaching inhabitants known as “les bleuets”. You will be invited for an amazing visit at the famous Saint-Félicien Wildlife Zoo where you will be in position to safely observe wild animals in their natural habitats. A train will indeed take you for a ride across a replica of the main Canadian regions. (Breakfast included)

From Sacré-Coeur (day 9), here are a few optional short stays that you could easily add to your package. Please refer to their duration in order to determine the number of nights each of these trips will add to the original route.

Days 10 and 11 –St-Félicien / Lac Edouard (173 km)
On your way to the raftmen country, you’ll drive along the magnificent St-Maurice Valley. Definitely one of the most beautiful road in Quebec. This is a wonderful place to truly experience the Canadian forest! The Mauricie region offers you the richness of its natural and cultural heritage. You will then stay at the legendary Triton Outfitter. In the 19th century, the outfitter was a prestigious hunting club frequented by the riches and the famous. On the program: hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, swimming in lakes, wildlife watching, etc. (Breakfast included on day 11 and 2 Lunch and 2 Diner)

Days 12 and 13 – Lac Edouard / Montreal (290 km)
Back in Quebec’s metropolis! Discover its famous attractions such as the old Port, the Biodôme, the Insectarium, the Olympic Tower, the Underground City and of course La Ronde, the largest theme park in Quebec. Built in 1967 for the Universal Exposition, this world class park offer today more than 40 rides that will delight even the most hard to please visitors! (2 Breakfast included)

TIP: Please note that these prices include a pick up directly at the airport. Considering how expensive taxi transfer can be and the fact that you'll only have to park your vehicle in downtown (city centre) the first night, we truly belive that it's the easiest way to proceed. If for whatever reason you would like to proceed otherwise by rather piking-up the car in a downtown location on day 2, we'd be more than happy to quote it for you.
